Human interpretation is inherently erroneous. Nobody can understand anything fully. We rely on experts to give us the best explanation given the current methods. . I think it may be obvious, but I don't believe in god or any religion mostly due to the fact that it was written by people. I look at today's interpretation of physics and I don't see any reason why I should believe the (I'll be nice here) supernatural elements. Today if someone were to claim the things that (supposedly) god told them, we would classify that person as a schizophrenic. So that's how I look at the people who repeated the messages from god in the bible.
