I think some chauvinist came up with it because he was insecure and needed someone to be dumber than him, even if she wasn't. The same for the chauvinist remark about women drivers, when it is men who are the rotten drivers; ask any insurance agent. I don't like put-down cliches of anyone. +4

I don't. The blondes I know are smart book-wise, but I have to admit they like to act a bit ditsy.
