  • I think most people, not the few who really do act, make themselves feel better by convincing themselves that they are somehow helping to create a better world or that they care about the quality of life for others. It's brain candy for them, but apathy is really what most people feel and act out. People who sincerely care, actually do put their thoughts into action. If most people did sincerely want to have a better world, we would see an overwhelming display of that caring. As it is, I only see isolated action by caring people, and I am very thankful for those special, caring individuals.

  • sadly, self interest motivates nearly all decesions, some decesions have positive consequenses, many though are selfish consequenses
