Do you pronounce mayonnaise like May-ON-aze, May-O-naze, or May-naze? (I'm not asking for correct pronunciation, just curious about yours)

You're reading Cannes (as in the location of the film festival) is pronounced "Can", but many people pronounce it "Con" or "Cans" or "Cons". How do YOU pronounce it?
Comments
Lol...yeah me too. I just always feel myself butchering it and when I looked it up, I was surprised it was the simplest of the pronunciations.... "Can".

I´m sorry to say, but it´s not this way. Would you, for instance, like to be called something like "Dez Dahlay"? Anywhere a different pronunciation sounds strange to native folks.
It´s like in English "KAHNN" (an open "ah", no "s" sound, well noticed "n").
Apologies.
