  • I would be almost directly in the middle of the scale. I am very open minded and slow to agree wholeheartedly on anything till i have seen proof that what i believe in is right.
  • i'm picturing this in my head: 100 aggressive religious | | | | | | | | 50 non aggressive religious | | | | | | | | 0 non aggressive agnostic | | | | | | | | -50 non aggressive non religious | | | | | | | | -100 aggressive non religious so i'm guessing a 50 non aggressive religious?
  • Maybe 60 I believe and I practise my Religion but I do not try to push my views on others and I am not a fanatic.
  • I choose not to participate, so I'm off the scale. Not that I'm non-religious, just not interested that much in establishments. I don't know all that much about them, so getting involved in either is potentially a decision taken in ignorance. What I do know about is history, and I am very well aware that all religions (including that of non-religion, which happens to be a belief system just like the others) have been used to manipulate individuals and society across the centuries. It still happens today, and will probably continue to happen. I won't be manipulated like that, so I stand outside. It seems to me to be the only way to maintain any level of personal honesty, the only way to know I'm acting because of what I believe rather than what I'm told.
  • 0 I am not religious, but I do respect those who are. As of now I don't believe in God, but I know there is a possibility that a God or gods exist. Nothing's 100%
  • I'd say about a 50 religious. I do not go out preaching, and honestly, I am not even much of a teacher when people aproach me, I answer questions and if they want more I will direct them to those more knowledgable than myself. however my beliefs are far from hidden.
  • Other than Madalyn Murray O'Hair I don't know any "aggressive non-believers." How can you aggressively not-believe in something? I don't believe in unicorns or leprechauns, but I haven't started a church to preach that they don't exist. Same with angels, devils, fairies, elves, ghosts, gods, and goblins. How can I 'aggressively' not believe in them? I haven't seen any of these supernatural entities and so I don't believe they exist. Does that sound aggressive?
  • As a determined agnostic and as one who rarely, if ever makes any decisions I would have to place myself at 50. (most likely, I think, maybe)
  • I'd be at zero on such a bell curve. I've studied each of the great religions and have concluded that I know that I don't know. Agnostic.
