When my wife and first married, i was a rookie police officer and the money was really lousy.

We ate so much VegAll that i hate it today.

I was in the National Guard and we did not have money to wash my fatigues, so we hand-washed them in the bathtub.

Cigarette butts were a premium for us.

Things are so much better today.

It makes us appreciate those bad times.

Maybe, this is what has kept us together for so many years.

You are not alone.

I remember once in college I had tickets to a concert but no money for parking. I searched the sofa and under the seats of the car and came up with enough change. Good times!
