2009's top 5 failed states are Somalia, Zimbabwe, Sudan, Chad and The Democratic Republic of the Congo. If all government is BAD, why aren't these the nicest places on Earth to live?

Because it is not that governments are bad because with out them we would all live in a sess pool in hell but instead it that government is corrupted most of the time which happens when most people get power but we still need them I will hatefully admit

because, either way you are damned....it isnt exactly govenment per say...its peoples take on it. you cant please everyone at once...and noboby really likes someone elses idea of order, unless of coarse it was their own. So no matter what kind of system there is going on, you will always have a difference of opinion. Even if we happen to fall upon a worldwide peace treaty with no war or weapons, I am sure someone would have something to bitch about.

These are the worst places because of the greed of the different ruling factions and the ignorance of the masses. The height of a dog-eat-dog society. No respect, no compassion, no religions principles, no education, just people/nations not ready to be on their own. They removed the logic and compassion from their countries. We have those factions here also!!!

You'll notice that those who complain about the size of government usually do so when they're made to obey the laws. both Conservatives and Convicts hate big government, for much the same reason. They are nice to live, if you're the dude with the most guns.

All government is potentially bad. Some governments actually fill the bill. Your examples are most definitely bad. I have been to one of them. Bad is a childish understandment.

Could have something to do with all of the horrible diseases in the area. Or something to do with all of the armies that invade them. Perhaps.

Because thay are failed states, not communities based on Anarchism as an ideology. They are in a state of confusion and Anarchy they have no relationship with Anarchism, which is the rejection of hierarchical systems in which equality is replaces by corruption and thirst for power.
