I prefer the female to use an average to smaller size on me. However, to be honest she has slowly increased the size over time to be what I consider quite large and as long as it still remains an intimate experience, I'm willing to fill her desire to go a little larger then my personal comfort. I find that I can adapt to larger strap-on for her as long as its respectful of me and my feelings. Though as a male I can not say that I truly crave larger toys, my personal satisfaction comes from being able to do things for my love. -
My preferences have changed over the years. We have a harness that accomodates any dildo with a base. We started off with one that was the same as my own cock. Then we went to a larger size, in width and length. The larger dildo felt much better and we enjoyed that for a while. Then I bought two others. My husband and our third we added both prefer the larger dildos. Although I did start my husband with a smaller one and we've worked our way up much to his delight. Men are just like women, bigger is better. I can't speak for other men but once my husband began loving the strapon he began craving the REAL thing.

I like all different sizes and I prefer at least 1.5 in diameter as I do use them solo I sometimes enjoy large up to 9 in diameter so far and penetrating 7 to 8 inches.
