  • I work with 2 Damons and 1 Dhiman (pronounced 'demon'). Lucifer works, of course, as well.
  • Unless this is a child's book, why make the name show that the character is evil? That's your job as a writer to characterize and demonstrate the character. Naming a character "Snidely Whiplash" or a pair of foreign spies "Boris and Natasha" works for childrens' cartoon characters, but ... if you want better than that you have to use your craft. That's writing, not picking a name that tells the readers, "Here's the bad guy."
