  • I haven't seen the report, but if true, it's a perfect example of using your skills in the free enterprise system. The armed forces encourage their people to have a second career after they retire. ;)
  • I think money talks. There is no glory in murdering for your country or for anyone.
  • If the drug cartel is killing people and enslaving them, take them out. They are begging for this.
  • I wonder why the cartel employed him. Are their standards so low that they can not find someone who can at least shoot straight?
  • Feel free to pass on your links. We don't mind if you share information. As far as that topic goes, this is what you get when you have large numbers of men trained to kill, but with few other useful skills. Some of them are going to find employment that puts their most valuable skills to use and pays them accordingly.
  • It doesn't surprise me. The services have lowered their recruitment standards and are now allowing people with criminal records and histories of drug use, sexual violence, assault, membership in gangs and groups like the aryan nation and radical religious groups and to enlist. Some of them committing crimes after being trained to kill? That isn't surprising at all. Oh, and before you peg me as a military hater I am not. I'd from a family that has a proud continuing history of military service but hate the lowering of standards.
  • I guess the army wasn't paying enough.
  • Pathetic! He should be executed
  • This isn't news. US Soldiers have been protecting the poppy fields in Afghanistan. . http://travel.nationalgeographic.com/places/gallery/afghanistan_soldier-poppy-field.html
  • I can believe it! Alot of military members are former criminals forced into the military rather than taken to jail. They are no better in the service than they were in the civilian world, and keep the same trashy friends that got them in trouble in the first place. It gives the military a bad name....
  • Which is why Joined the Air Force. I hated to think that's all I could've been.
  • Everybody has a price, I guess. Good thing a gung ho dude in his unit did not find him first. Good thing Josie did find him first.
