History teaches we will.

No, that was before science.

I think that is hard to predict. I would not rule another Dark Age out for sure. +5

In 500 years, they may say that we are currently living in a dark age. We say that because of the lack of advancement in technology at the time. In the future, they may have things we can't imagine and could call us the dark age for the lack of "technological advancement" in relation to their times.
-
If you mean a period of ignorance and poverty? Yes its here!!

Yes, it is posible. Some feel the government crackdown by the Bush Administration on our idividual rights as the beginning of a new "dark age". + 5

there was no such thing as the dark ages, it just took us a while to discover that a LOT went on then.
-
Nope.

It wasn't called the dark ages because it was bad (though it was). It was called the dark ages because there was relatively little recorded history about what happened back then. The church restricted literacy. We have freedom the the press now so it is hard to imagine that happening again. If a Christian or Muslim theocracy arises and starts burning books again, I suppose it could happen.

No. We are experiencing the first stages of the birth of the Aquarian Age and there will be a wonderful future. 2012 will be the end of a lot of confusion and ignorance about a lot of things and 2013 will be the true awakening into a new understanding of God, mankind, and life.

-
Yeah, I do... and I think we are currently experiencing the beggining of the new dark age. But don't worry the world is not going to end. Always think positive!

As opposed to a Bright Age, no, I think not. We will have cyclic economic conditions, ups and downs, wars, famines, crowning moments, nuclear devastation, reorganization of the continents, balance of world power, leveling of living standards, power failures, rocks in the road, changing of the guard, demagogues in office, interplanetary travel. As long as the free will of man exists, i don't see a dark age.
