It is certainly morally wrong. The legality probably depends on specifics. I am uncomfortable with the idea of it being legal but I also have misgivings about the way in which it is prosecuted and more serious misgivings about how people are 'caught' in the first place.

Yes, of course it is. The people that have said no are simply out of touch. You can pen a story where an adult has sex with a minor but are you going to jail for it? Of course not. I think people are confused by the difference between "sex" and "cyber-sex", which is simply spinning a tale, albeit a very wrong one. Just because it's morally unbecoming, doesn't it make it illegal, in terms of law.
