Help answer this question below.
I'm no expert, and don't even have a "NET10" phone. But I found out my phone's email address by sending an email from my phone to my computer. The phone's email address showed up in the incoming message.
Maybe that will work for you.
WE FOUND OUT THAT TWO ADDRESSES "MAY" WORK.. BOTH DID WORK FOR ME,,, ONE IS **********@tmomail.net (WHICH IS THROUGH "T-MOBILE").. THE OTHER ONE THAT WORKS IS **********@cingularme.com (WHICH IS "CINGULAR").. THERE ARE VARIOUS "CINGULAR" ADDRESSES THAT MAY BE USED IF THIS ONE DOES NOT WORK... ALSO,, WHEN I CALLED FOR "HELP" FROM NET-10,, THE PERSON WHO ANSWERED, NOR THE SUPERVISOR KNEW ANYTHING AT ALL ABOUT WHAT I WAS ASKING.. SAID THE "ONLY TEXT THAT WOULD GO THROUGH WOULD BE FROM ANOTHER PHONE",, AND NOT AN E-MAIL ADDRESS... WWWRRROOONNNNNGGGGG....!!!!!
SOMEBODY NEEDS TO TRAIN THESE IDIOTS....
Yes, go to http://www.net10.com/sms.jsp?
Yes, DO NOT BOTHER to call Net10 Technical support or customer service since you will just be wasting your time and get very fustrated speaking to these support people. They either do not know, are trained NOT to know or THE company really does NOT WANT you to use your pc to phone options since they only get paid or use up mins on ONE end of that transacation instead of BOTH ends. But Its my educated guess they are just STUPID big time and several of them kept offering me my own hotmail address I use for their website access. I gave up after THREE TECH people knew less than my 13 yr old. All they know is inputs on their pcs and to read scripts about, thanking you and can I help you or please hold or can I help you with anything else that I +ukcing know nothing about and so I did not help you....blah blah blah....YES YOU MUST SEND YOUR THIRD PARTY EMAIL ADDRESS A EMAIL FROM THE CELL PHONE IN QUESTION AND READ THE SENT FROM SERVER ADDRESS- it will be different for each zip or county you happen to have coverage since Net10 must subcontract the use of the main carriers cell infrastructures....
With Net10 the actual service is provided through a local cell phone service provider in your area. Like the answer provided earlier, the best way that I have found for figuring out the e-mail address to send text messages to my Net10 cell phone is to send a message from my Net10 cell phone to my e-mail address. Then look at the reply-to address. Mine ended up to be ##########@email.uscc.net. It looks like my Net10 service is provided through US Cellular. It would be nice if Net10 could provided a standard address domain for e-mailing text messages to Net10 cell phones.
