If you saw someone murdering another human would you try to stop it, or call the police or nothing?

I would call the police. I would be afraid that if I offered to help or try to stop it that I would also be hurt or worse....killed. I wouldn't be able to do nothing because that would be on my conscience.

it would depend on the situation and the subjects. for example, if i saw a man strangling his wife i would step in and kick his ass, if i saw a guy with a gun shooting people i would call the police and only try to stop him myself if there was a reasonable chance of success, if i saw jason killing people i would be on the first anything going anywhere but their. first, it is pointless to get yourself killed if there isn't a good chance of actually succedding. say for example twenty guys with assault rifles are executing people in the street, unless you happen to be a T-1000 you would just be throwing your life away for nothing. but if you were on a plane and a couple of hijackers with box cutters took over, it would be reasonable to do anything to stop them since the alternative is almost certain death.

This is a tough question since if you were to call the police it would probably be too late and the person would be dead already. If you were to try and stop the murderer by yourself there's a great risk of getting hurt or killed. I'd need to think about it more.

Well had this question been asked yrs ago Id call 911,try to make some noise to distract the person who is doing the actual act to startle him/her hoping he/she would leave the victim alone & hope & pray that worked and the police got on their job and got to the scene ASAP.If that didnt work I would of went to ppl's homes & got help bat/gun/back-up /mace and went in for the victim's rescue..But now,at this day and time being I spent 3 1/2 yrs in a womens maximum/medium prison for a crime I didnt commit/all the ppl I met/all the stories of their crimes/the state of minds they were in/things that happened while incarcerated,etc---the best advice I have for myself is prison advice..I dont see nothing/I dont say nothing/I dont know nothing/Keep it moving/I only know my own business & im not even sure I wanna know that cuz bitches/officers/staff have u doing & saying shit u dont even know what the f' they're talking about. So if it aint got nothing to do wih my family--sorry--I have a blind eye.A deaf ear.A mute voice. Mary

I would call the police, but I might jump in and try to help anyway if it was someone I knew. If it was one of my children though, the person doing the attacking would not stand a chance.

It really would depend on who the killer and the one being killed are. For example, if I see someone (anyone) killing Cheney or Bush, I'd stop and watch is ecstay!

Depends on the situation really, I know of a guy who attacked & killed the guy that molested his kid, if I had seen that going on I'd have walked away from it! :-/ he was prepared to face whatever consequences came his way, Plus I'd have done the same thing being in his position! :-/
