It takes a long time and a lot of work to earn a post grad degree. Where is her acknowledgement? If she's going to be there, I sure wouldn't leave her out. I would consider it very rude. +5

a BIG YES.....you only have to add her name on the cake and in the toast...it's not that bad...it won't kill anybody and it will be respectful....

I don't want anyone to steal my thunder:) I don't care if its my husband or not..this is my celebration:) You can join in and mingle with all my friends and family..and tell your nephew to throw his wife a bigger Party:) It is a compromise:)

if the wife were only his girlfriend, i would say no, but they're married! she is supposed to be part of the family now. if it were both of their birthdays, both names would be on the cake (i hope) so i think that is pretty damn dismissive of your sister.

Should have mentioned that her graduation isn't until the end of the year.
