What do you say when someone asks you if you've got spare change?

I say no.

It depends on who it is. If they really look like they need it, I'll give them a few dollars, but if I suspect it's just a con, I won't give them anything.

If I know I have a $1.00 bill I usually give it to them. I do not judge just give.

i say the truth, which is usually no. If i have any, i can usually spare some:)

I say yes, and keep walking.

I would give whatever change I have.
