Yes. Fire, fire! He he he heh.
-
I read the book, and yes I know how to build a fire. Of course, not in the wilderness though.
-
Yes, you have marshmallows and chocolate and Graham crackers?
-
that's a random question........but yea
-
no i do not- it would be nice if maybe some of the people who do could be just a little bit explanatory. i am finding myself to be suddenly very curious about this topic.
-
Yes I do, I know the right kinds of wood to do it with including the right kind of kindling needed to start it off with. Wow, Scouts did have some use after all.
-
Funny thing fire... When I try to start one in the fireplace it takes forever if I ever get a good fire going. now when it comes to accidentally setting things on fire I am a pro!!
-
yes I grew up on a farm and we always camped outside "I was the ""KEEPER OF THE FIRE"" and kept it going all the time ... I was the only one who could cook on a real fire too;)
-
Us the dryest tent material you can find and then add at least a gallon of gas high test preferred! Position an entire box of stick matches around the outside and then light em up and run!
-
take a 9v battery, some steel wool and toilt paper. put the steel wool into the toilt paper and touch the steel wool to the ends of the battery and it will catch the toilt paper on fire. it shorts out the battery causing it to catch the toilt paper on fire
-
Throw some lighter fluid onto a pile of wood and light a match to it. I did this once when I couldnt get my fire to start in the fireplace. Might not have been the smartest thing to do but I was warm in about 10 minutes.
-
Yes.
-
Yes, since I was a pre-teen.
-
Step 1: Light a match. Step 2: Throw on wood. Step 3: Enjoy.
-
Yes, I know how to make many kinds of fires. I can start one in a wood stove, in our wood burning hot tub. I can light a small Indian fire for cooking and a huge white man fire for sitting around and keeping warm. I know how to set logs as back reflection for heat and how to make a teepee of wood to get a fire really burning hot and fast.

Break out the bic lighter, lol!! All kidding aside build a firewood tepee, layering dried leaves or paper in between if you could find any around. The use either matches or a lighter to start it.Once the fire starts wait a minute or two then blow on it , fire needs air, the more air the bigger the flames will become, therefore the firewood will start to catch and burn more efficiently.
-
Yes. It took me a while to learn, but I think I've got it down pat.
-
Yep, I am the Girl Scout camp mom. I had to take a camping course to learn how to put the match to the wood.
-
for my summer job Im a staff member at a Scout camp last summer I taught the new camper program and taught how to build fires.
-
Assemble loggetes in an increasing symmetrical manner and build in a pyrimidical pattern. with plenty of kindling. then use your lighter to ignite it and add dry logs as needed in order to get a blazing fire going.
-
As a Boy Scout, I was required to build and light a fire with only two matches. I take a certain amount of pride in the fact that I can usually get my fires going with just one.
-
I go camping a lot and I also have a wood stove at home. For many years I struggled with wet wood when out camping so I cheat now and take either a presto log or those little white fire starters with me. Diesel works great too.
-
Yes, although I have not done it in a long time. :-) +5
-
Yep.
-
Put the little bits of wood in a cris cross pattern and light the fire eunderneath it so theres air to make it go.
-
light a match and let nature do the rest.
