It sounds like "deleting the problem" has caused this problem. When your Microsoft Windows system gets viruses, you should start with shouting at your anti-virus software manufacturer to make their software work as the virus should not get past their software in the first place! The BSoD STOP message with its 0x0 number should give indication as to where the problem lies. You could also try a system restore ( but if you do, and it works, disable and then enable system restore again to prevent accidental reinfection )

http://www.combofix.org/ this will fix any and all malware, registry errors, etc this is why you can't just delete a virus it changes the registry and hides in system restor and other critical files
