depression as disease or - depressive mood? very big diffrence.. first depresivve mood i had wen i was ..hm.. 13? but disease if i will not work with my self , i will have soon i affraid..it CAN`T last couple of days.. it`s for moths and years

A good part of my late sophomore and the majority of my junior year of high school. I went through an identity crisis. The person I had become in high school wasn't necessarily the same person I let everyone see. I worked through it on my own but looking back on it I really wish I had asked for help.

18, my family moved to a small town and I wasn't ready to deal with the prospect of paying rent, so I went along. This was the only town, and situation in life where I was unable to make friends and I soon found myself very depressed and lonely. Then I went to Toronto for a Metallica concert and just never went home. That broke the blues for me.
