The law considers it lawful for her to take off her clothes for sex so taking off her clothes for voyers should hardly be a problem. It's not something I would like my child to do though.

My mother didn't care about me when I was 16 as I'm sure you dont care for your daughter telling from this ridiculous question. 14 is a big age difference from 16 in development. The same goes for 16 to 18. Your child is your responsibility and if she is even interested in stripping then you have failed her as a parent and need to try to fix her life and your relationship from here on out. If a man cant legally have sex with a 16 year old child then why would the 'law' or you permit her to be in a sexually exploited position, where she will be offered money for things other than taking off her clothes. If my mother cared about me when I was younger my life would be completely different right now. I'm the mother of two and for that I'm proud but if my parents treated me like I was their world like I treat my kids I would be able to offer them allot more than what they have.

Yes, I think people of any age should be able to strip if they so choose, and still be able to leave at whatever point they choose. But I'm in the minority. A pretty small one. Uhm, really, I think it's her right to choose, and if she wants to be a stripper, then go ahead. It's her life to create or destroy as she sees fit.

yeah, but I'd put it at around 10:30 pm, because that's when the weirdos and people looking for sex start to show up. But yeah, they're getting sexy and are building a foundation for independence by that age. My little sister-in-law did some peep shows and made more money in 3 freaking days than I do in a month.

I agree with the compromise that one poster suggested--the cutoff age should be 17. For one thing, a 17 year old is old enough to join the military and witness and experience things far more horrible than anything that is likely to happen in a strip club before 11:30pm. For another, in civilian life a 17 year old usually needs to make decisions about college (and hence careers) and thus is presumed old enough to make important long term decisions. But OTOH 16 just seems a tad too young. A 16 year old is usually still pretty firmly ensconced in high school--that just seems a bit young to be taking on an adult role like stripper. So I'd set the cutoff age at 17. But at the same time the law should be respected if it requires a higher cutoff age.

Its not legal for anyone under the age of 16 to even pump gas there but they allow for stripping and pole dancing for 16 yr olds. You can strip in front of strangers....but no last call for you minor....go on home and be like a normal young lady its 11:30...but make sure you are on time tommorow to strip again. The Law Makers better get a grip of their minds in that town!

I would say no, but our laws are somewhat conflicting. If someone took a picture of that 16 year old stripping it would legally be kiddie porn. Yet, the age of consent is 16 in many states, so it is perfectly legal to have sex. I think they really should make 18 the minimum age for stripping.

I was a stripper in the 80's and 90's. If I saw a 16 year old in there i would spank her and then tell her to go home. That would attract pedophiles plus it would be disturbing for a older person to step in there and watch a young girl that isn't 18 get naked and dance on a stage. I would not feel comfortable sitting there and tipping a 16 year old to strip in front of me afterwards i would feel dirty and like a pedophile myself. If you want to strip do it in private in your room and wait till your 18 if you want to pursue something like that you still got plenty of time to choose what you want to do and personally that could be someones little sister on that stage and to be the brother or even parents of that teenage girl would be so upsetting and furious at the same time.
