Well I hear that STI's such as herpes, gonorrhea, and even HIV/AIDS is on the rise among teenagers. Not to mention the prevalence of teenage pregnancies. Apart from the health-related consequences, I would be willing to bet that there are hordes of emotional ones as well.

Besides unplanned pregnancies and disease ... teens are missing out on enjoying the "specialness" one gets from waiting until the right person comes along to have sex with. It's just so casual and meaningless anymore ... they leave nothing to look forward to!!

Check this out....I got a friend that just told me this a month ago.... So my friend was working at Wendy's hamburger joint while he was doing high school....and he only worked for a week because they didnt adjust his hours for him to attend the finals tests at the end of our 12th year...so obviously he had to drop the job...but before he did he got to know some of the co-workers... Apparently this chick and dude that were working there were married and had kids...and they were both just regular employees at wendy's...both of their goals were to become manager...at wendys...so some people need to make careful decisions in life because people can get stuck in some situations...but not every situation is un fixable...some people just pick without actually choosing.

If they use proper protection then the only thing that can happen physically is they get to find out firsthand about the diseases that condoms don't protect against. If they don't use proper protection they can find out all about any disease they come into contact with as well as the effects of them on a fetus.

Alot of babies... children being even more confused then they already are. Std's... Depression... Loss of self esteem... The meaning of sex will be lost and forgotten. ...alot of things. Its not healthy...not in the least. Expecially when they do it "cuz they can" ...not cuz it has meaning.

Mostly HIV and AIDS

I have been dating a women for more then one year. She wants me and her to go to Las Vegas together. She wants me to pay for her ticket. I don't think I should since we are not married. I feel we could have a good time together. I told her to pay for her ticket and I will pay for miy ticket. She told me if I don't pay her ticket she will not go. So can you tell me if I am right or wrong. Pease send me a answer. Richard

If they're not smart enough to at least use protection, they may not live long enough to regret it when they contract a deadly STD. Or they may be sick for the rest of their existence because of their own actions. Possibly not ever having a true, loving relationship with someone because they've contracted a disease they can spread, so when a potential mate finds out; they're out of there. Or worse yet, they can't have a real, sexual, loving relationship for fear they'll spread their disease to someone else. They may end up with an unwanted child that was just born because they had sex with a "hookup"; not because it was conceived through a special or loving relationship. Many will end up single parents when the "hookup aka the spermn donor" goes his way and they never see him again! It will make it harder for them to get through college or even high school so the chances will be stacked against them having the best life they could if not for their actions. . They may realize how amoral it really was and when it hits them, they may become depressed or otherwise disturbed and lack any self-respect because of it. Etc, etcetera...

STDs, unwanted pregnancies or HIV or AIDS

They could suffer with STDs and /or AIDS up to about ten years from their reckless activity ... They could end up as Parents and have to quit their education to get employment and raise / support a family ... Just two of the things ..
