What kind of sneakers do you wear and what do they call sneakers in your country if you are not from the USA?

In the UK they normally call them Trainers. I wear Nike, Reebok, Ellesse, Nicks. Whatever feels comfortable. I do buy a lot though which after one gym session I decide are not quite right.

I only wear Merrell or New Balance, becuase other brands do not come in wide widths that fit my foot.
