  • Avid Juicy's have a common problem with seized pistons. Can you remove the wheel? Try cracking the bleed nipple on the caliper to see if that helps? Then try removing the mounting bolts and gently rocking the caliper so the disk levers the pistons back in place. Be careful though, because you might bend the disk! When you do get the caliper to release, the pistons need to come out for a good clean and the brake should have new fluid before being bled. Maybe new seals too.
