  • no not at all... we don't believe in either of them since both are from the same fairy stories
  • Disbelief doesn't make one evil. Selfish self-centeredness demonstrated to the detriment of others is. Atheists can be very philanthropic.
  • Atheist believe dont believe in either, that doesn't make them evil.
  • I asked a similar question to this on AB once, I wondered who do christians deem to be a bigger threat: atheists or satanists? I mean a traditional satan believer/worshipper might be an opposing force to christians BUT ultimately satanists (of the old flock) acknowledge there is a god, even though they oppose him. In a sense stanists give christians purpose, a force to oppose and a reason to battle for god etc..satanism in a sense validates christianity. But atheists on the other hand disregard all notions of a god or devil hence I wondered if athesists like myself were considered a bigger threat. But an atheist cannot be evil but by his and man's own lawful description/definition based on his actions against law and man, not imaginary gods.
  • What a stupid question Jesus. Why don't you go and take your meds.
  • Satan believes in God because it was him that cast him to Hell, as I believe the Bible says, but as an Atheist, yes, I'm probably more evil than Satan, no argument from me :D
  • No. Atheists just ignore God. Satan actively works against God. "But deliver us from evil." The last petition to our Father is also included in Jesus' prayer: "I am not asking you to take them out of the world, but I ask you to protect them from the evil one." (Jn 17:15) In this petition, evil is not an abstraction, but refers to a person, Satan, the Evil One, the angel who opposes God. The devil is the one who "throws himself across" God's plan and his work of salvation accomplished in Christ. The Bible teaches that Satan is a fallen angel. Scripture sees in this being a fallen angel, called "Satan" or the "devil". (Cf. Jn 8:44; Rev 12:9) Satan was at first a good angel, made by God: "The devil and the other demons were indeed created naturally good by God, but they became evil by their own doing." Scripture speaks of a sin of these angels. (2 Pet 2:4) This "fall" consists in the free choice of these created spirits, who radically and irrevocably rejected God and his reign. The devil "has sinned from the beginning"; he is "a liar and the father of lies." (1 Jn 3:8; Jn 8:44) It is the irrevocable character of their choice, and not a defect in the infinite divine mercy, that makes the angels' sin unforgivable. "There is no repentance for the angels after their fall, just as there is no repentance for men after death." Scripture witnesses to the disastrous influence of the one Jesus calls "a murderer from the beginning," who would even try to divert Jesus from the mission received from his Father. (Jn 8:44; cf. Mt 4:1-11) "The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the works of the devil." (1 Jn 3:8) The power of Satan is, nonetheless, not infinite. He is only a creature, powerful from the fact that he is pure spirit, but still a creature. He cannot prevent the building up of God's reign. • I eat babies
  • So now not believing in your God makes a person evil?
  • Are you f'en retarded ppl who don't choose Gods word are not evil, they are using their God given free will You have no f**knig idea what Jesus preached He did not judge anyone as a man, he healed, ate with and washed the feet of sinners, he didn't judge them This is for God to do, not you GD f'en moron start your own hate site and get off AB
  • evil suggests the presents of god so if we dont believe there is a god how can there be evil
  • Typical Christian rhetoric... *Yawns.
  • That is a immensely stupid statement. It's really not a question at all.
  • Satan does not believe in god for he knows that the Lord exists and that the Lord will be victorious over him in the end of days at the last battle. And atheists aren't evil. Doesn't mean they're getting through the gates of heaven, but they aren't evil.
  • As no gods exist and as Satan does not exist, the question is meaningless. Or taking a theistic view, in christian theology Satan does not believe that God exists, it has direct personal experience of God and its antics. Anybody, even an atheist, would agree that God exists after losing a mighty battle and being condemned to eternal damnation. The problem with gods is that there is no evidence that any of them exist, and without evidence it is irrational to believe in their existence. Some philosophers argue that it is literally immoral to believe in things for which there is no evidence. Such philosophers would, necessarily, conclude that believing in any god was immoral. Atheists, not believing in any gods, are not immoral from this point of view and are therefore less evil than the delusional believers.
  • Err no. I'm sure something has to actually exist before you can be more or less evil than it. But, for a moment, lets pretend that you are correct. God and Satan exist, as written in the bible. Atheists are, quote, "fools". Satan is maliciously trying to bring about the downfall of god. So, if god and satan were real creatures, satan would be much more evil than an atheist.
  • Please read "The Origin of Satan" by Elaine Pagels. It's a manmade myth.
  • No, that would make you an idiot for believing in such stupidity at your age
  • Mumbo, Jumbo.
  • Atheist are not evil, They just don't believe in God. That in itself does not make a person evil. I think God disapproves of this question.
  • No Satan KNOWS God and defies him. An atheist does not know God. Also just because a person choices not to believe does not always make them evil...They can still have a good heart.
