I think once a cheater, perhaps not always a cheater. But, most people do say that if they ever change, it wont be with you. If someone really feels bad and loves you, could it change with you? Does the relationship have to end 4 them to mature?

I think it is very possible for people to just change like that, but it's very difficult (and rare). They might try, and then go back to doing the same old thing down the road. Changing FOREVER is a difficult thing to do.

You aren't going to "change" your s/o. But you can work on yourself. If you can learn to accept yourself, as you are, without judgment, then you will find you are only interested in those who are honest with themselves. One can learn to grow and to trust him/herself. So if your s/o learns to be accepting and trusting, then they are a real prize. But you first have to learn to accept and trust yourself. then you can better determine whether your s/o is trustworthy.
