In order to avoid lawsuits, producers won't read an unsolicited script unless it comes from a writer's agent. The problem is that if they do a movie that's similar in theme to the unsolicited script, the writer could sue, claiming the producer stole his/her idea. So...do some research and learn how to write a script (if you want to write the scripts). Otherwise, concentrate on writing your stories and try to get them published, so they will (1) be copyrighted and (2) get noticed by producers. Do NOT be discouraged. Most writers get tons of rejection notices ("no-thank-you's") before they get their first story published. I think it's great that you like to write! Good luck!
