  • Being outside during the day, in sunshine, does seem to improve my alertness....as opposed to being in a gunky plant building at night...where I am forced to spend a great deal of my time.
  • I take Vitamin D in concert with calcium because it helps the body absorb the calcium more efficiently. Since I've been doing this for years I don't know what I would be like not having taken it. But I have read only good things about Vitamin D so maybe it can do that! :)
  • You also need should be taking the vitamin D with a high vitamin C drink, like juice, it also helps your body absorb it more efficiently. My mother advised me of this because she had bypass surgery, and has to live off of vitamins and shots now and sees a nutritionist weekly to ensure her vitamin levels and such are where they should be.
