  • I think it's more than that. We ARE our soul, occupying this body. When it dies, we lose our 'power supply', and drop out of this dimension/energy state. Stories of reincarnation seem to suggest that we can subsequently reconnect with another power supply at a later date. Christianity seems to say that this cycle can only be broken by appealing to a higher power Source.
  • No. It is in union with the mind & body whilst alive then exists in an entirely different matter without the body, when dead.
  • it has been proven at the moment of death you lose a scant amount of weight that cannot be explained. i really think this is the soul leaving the body.
