What are some of the tiny effects while going through puberty for boys that people don't always tell you about. I mean the bad effects.

Growing pains aren't specificially limited to puberty. My four year old daughter has been getting them for the past two years, on and off. In fact, a lot of adolescents actually slow down (getting taller, that is) during puberty, while the body is concentrating on reaching sexual maturity.

also, you might get premature body odor (armpits). My nephew is 10 and has it something fierce. (first started smelling when he was 9). I tell you when he's within a few feet of you, your eyes will tear up from the smell. I don't want him made fun of him in school (and I don't want him stinking up the house again) so I've tried many times, as has my sister, to delicately discuss the importance of good hygiene with him. But he refuses to follow our advice of showering every day and using deodorant. At this point, it's just "Look Bobby [fake name used to protect the guilty] I could smell you pulling into the drive. It's really awful and you need to shower immediately and deodorize or NO playstation!! He's a sweet, sweet boy and I hate to think of him being teased and made fun of in school and later in life. We're still working on him, but that is something you might think about.
