They know I have one, but they never like watch over my shoulder or go on the websites themselves or look at my profile or anything. They just know it's a question and answer site I go on frequently.

No way, my parents know about answerbag as well as myspace, aim, photobucket, ect. They know I'm smart with what I do online and trust me with it.

I'm 19 and I don't feel the need ..regardless of my age, to tell anyone anything about what I do unless it directly affects them.

Why would I? This is probably the tamest website on my computer. It's not like their interested in what I'm doing anyway.

They don't understand the internet, it's not worth trying to explain all the sites I go on. And I have a nosy mother, she would go look at my profiles for everything if she could.

I told my mom about Answerbag - I don't talk to my dad about it or else he will never stop warning me about the internet, etc. But I never actually let them see me on it - ie. answering, asking and browsing through the site.

I figure they don't ask, I don't tell. Only when they ask what I'm doing do I tell them.

No my mom knows all the websites I go on and monitors all of them; I really don't feel it's an invasion of my privacy; she's a single mom and is really just trying to protect me. I can talk to my mom about anything any way; we're real close and she's like my best friend but I know she's my parent and i respect her.
