Sheesh, I guess if you are really in love and know he or she is the one no. I do know that I am happily married, but at times regret that I was so prude. I never really dated a lot of people. I was always in a steady relationship. It makes me wonder if I could have learned more, or had more time to experiment then what I did. Instead I was so worried about doing what was right instead of enjoying my youth. I just want to remind you I am not talking about sexual promiscutiy I am just saying that maybe I should have gone out with more people.

If he/shes the one. If you will continue through college and can handle a house at the same time.

Yes I do. Even if you "think" you're in love, you have so much to learn about life, yourself, and your loved one. Why rush?

Retarded? Correct me if I am wrong but does that not mean lacking intelligence, being dim-witted, having a defective brain? I reckon you're using the wrong terminology! It would probably be unwise to get married before you're twenty, most likely because you're inexperienced, innocent and naive! You need to acquire a sense of responsibility to start a family and as a teen you will not have that experience. My advice is to wait until you no longer live with your parents, have a steady job and pay your own bills.

twenty.... its really not prudent 2 marry ven u know nothin abt life... in luv and lust u do commit such mistake but its better 2 think twice and enjoy fully ur life till atleast late 20's... y loose independence and fun.. get married...

I think it's retarded to get married.

"Retarted" refers to a woman who stops being a tart and then goes back to it. It is hardly ever used correctly. "Retarded" refers to people who do things more slowly than normal, so you must be using it ironically. Whose twenty?

huh???retarded???

Yes I do...A lot of ppl are giving you grief about your "retarted" spelling. But that is how I say it and I'm really happy that I'm not the only one. Cuz my friends tease me all the time. Don't get married before 20. You have lots of living to do yet my friend

I don't think its a very smart move. At twenty you still have somet things to experience before making a commitment like that. I was married at 20 and on my 21 birthday I went bar hopping and a lot of people bought me drinks for my birthday. My husband at the time got really mad because people were buying me drinks for my 21st. He'd even get mad if a girl would get me a drink. I'm not saying that everyone who marries before they are twenty will fail... but I am saying that at that age there is still a lot of maturing to be done!
