  • My uncle. He was shot to death in the back of the head while walking into his house. The person was waiting inside his garage. He shot my uncle, and the automatic door went down in the meantime so he had to jump out the side window. (He was never caught.) This was 26 years ago, My uncle was a Maifia "don".
  • a boy who lived down the street was beat up by a couple of kids and he had massive bleeding and swelling in his brain and he died in front of my house.
  • yes, my cuzin, domestic violents, her Fiancé
  • Several people. One was my babysitter when I was little. Robbed at an ATM machine at night (waaaay back when ATM's were new and had no camera). The other was ambushed as she entered a motel room while traveling by herself. She was the daugter of a doctor my mom worked for. I had only met her once. A kid my brother was good friends with murdered his parents and sister. I only knew them from dropping him off and picking him up at their house. The younger sister of a girl I graduated with. They lived in my neighborhood and she knew me more than I knew her (I was older...) She was murdered while at college. Stabbed by an intruder in broad day light while her roommates called 911. And a Marine that I did a lot of volunteer work with and carpooled to events with killed his ex-girlfriend, her sister and then himself (over custody issues).
  • His name was Gabriel. He came home one morning from work, and as normal he like to sit on the front porch and just enjoy the fresh air. It was about 1:00am. Well that night(morning)his parents and his brother were sleeping, and heard what they thought was backfiring from a car, so they went back to sleep. They woke up at about 7am as normal; called out for Gabriel just saying the normal goodmorning, but did not hear a response. They sent his brother to look for him, and he was found outside curled up in a ball with his trunk opened up with guns inside; they didn't know why, but anyway he got shot in the head. He was only 17yrs. old, I believe. He attended my old church.
  • I went to elementary school with a boy who, in high school, ended up murdering a little 2nd grader. In my fourth grade class picture I'm standing right next to him. A few years ago, I came home and my mom (who is a teacher at the elementary school) was all worried because a little boy had left school and never came home. I thought it was silly that people were so worried, because it had only been like an hour and a half, so I told her to calm down, it would be okay. But the next day they found his body. That boy I'm standing next to in the picture had gotten irritated by the little boy that day and shot him up with his mother's insulin, choked him, and sliced his body with razor blades. He was tried as an adult, and sentenced to a long, long time in prison.
  • Yes I have , My son.that is enough.
  • Yes. My son's best friend was shot in the back of the head (he was obviously walking AWAY) with a rifle by a man who knew the family and had been with him most of the night, he claimed it was self defense. He left him alive on the side of a seldom traveled road and he was still alive when someone finally saw him and called an ambulance. He died the next day. He pled out and took a manslaughter charge. My son was supposed to have gone out with him that night. That still makes me shudder. Of course my son has suffered a lot of guilt because he says if he had gone then his friend might not have been shot. But my thought is, maybe they both would have been.
  • A friends father. It was a mass murder, someone angry at many people, walking into a bar and shooting freely throughout the whole room, killing people in two towns. It was awful! News media from everywhere descended on our town.
  • A good friend of mine and the boyfriend of one of my friends was murdered by his father 2 months ago. His father shot him and then his younger brother. He killed the first son while he was sleeping and the secound after he came running in to help his older brother. They were both shot in the head by thier father. The younger brother had recently been excepted to a school to persue his dream of basketball. He was the star basketball player at our school. And was already being recruited by the NBA. I believe he wasnted to kill his son because he wasn't turning out to be the person he wanted him to be. He was shy and timid and girls didnt pay him much attention. The father then covered the entire house with gasoline as if he was preparing to set fire and changed his mind. He turned himself in after going to work. It was a GREAT lost in our community. WE MISS YOU JUSTIN & BLACK R.I.P
  • Very good friend. Very, very good man. He was shot in the back by a spun out tweaker.
  • yes an uncle and shot
  • Yes I have, and I'd rather not give the details.
  • Shaker was at the bar along with some friends who were planning an upcoming birthday party. Willie was in, along with his cousin, Frank, and everything was mostly peaceful, and a little bit drunk, but friendly because these people were all long-time friends, except for Frank. The discussion turned to the phone company, and for reasons nobody remembers, turned heated. Frank walked outside the bar, then came running back inside and slashed Shaker's throat, severing both carotids and his jugular. Frank immediately ran away to chase the clerk out of a close-by convenience store until the police could come to protect him. He got off scott-free.
  • This girl I knew in junior high school. She was on a picnic or something with a friend and this serial killer wannabe sniper shot them both in the head.
  • Yes my best friend from college was shot by her stepfather. He then killed her mother and then killed himself. It was the sadest day in my life.
  • My grandfather was shot to death by a deserter from the Canadian army. He was a guide in the Maine wilderness, and the deserter happened to be hiding in a cabin when my grandfather came along. I didn't know him, this happened before I was born, but he's related to me. A girl I used to work with was found stabbed to death at her home, she had dropped her baby off at the babysitter and went home to wait for her mom to come take her shopping. By the time her mom got there, she was dead. No one was ever arrested, but I am sure her abusive estranged husband did it.
  • Yes, one of my classmates in High School. He was the class clown. He had been living a wild life, too much alcohol and maybe something else. He was found standing against a wall on an abandoned house, hanging from his neck. It looked like a suicide, but the CSI people didn't believe that was the case. The sad part was that at one moment he was an amazing baseball shortstop. I saw him playing and he could had been as good as the best in the Major Leagues. Vices and the wrong crowd destroyed this promising life.
