  • I would rather hire an American designer. No disrespect to Mr. Shui, of course. +5
  • I would rather get it designed by an architect as per my specifications. Whether the architect uses a little Feng Shui for added curiosity value, its none of my business. I would approve a design that suits me most.
  • Feng Shui would be too restricted for me, although I think it has some excellent ideas. I'd say about 20%.
  • Maybe a bit, depending on what was advised. I find that a lot of feng shui is based on common-sense and ergonomics (mental and physical) more than anything.
  • For my own dram house, I'd rather design my own house plans and then take them to a mechanical enginer to create the construction plans. From what I've just seen about Feng Shui on a Google search, it looks to be in the realm of astrology and horoscopes and such nonsense. It there's any ergonomic aspects to it, I'd be open-minded to that aspect of it.
  • The initial properties of feng shui are basic ideas that I already use. Balance, flow, natual elements and ambiance. The deeper spiritual side I find to be rediculous.
