It really has nothing to do with male performance, except that bathing in separate bathtubs outside implies that they will both get out and have sex with optimized male performance.. American television would not accept an ad with a couple bathing together, so they do the G version, like where the couple in the 50's show on TV had separate twin beds...

I think it's supposed to be romantic, but I find it to be kind of the opposite - being in the same tub would be much cozier.

I think they are trying to indicate that stretching, a warm bath & a recovery plan are important considerations prior to geriatric booty calls.

I've wondered about that too. The ads run during prime time with children watching, so there are some pretty stringent limits on what an ad agency can show to get the idea of sexual performance across. By having the two sitting in tubs, they imply they are nude without having to show you that. It also connoted clean, wet, hot... Feelings we get from bathing that relate well to getting frisky with your mate as well. They can't put them both in one tub, because that might push the limits of decorum with children watching. So we have the absurdity of two claw-foot tubs somehow hovering on the surface of a lake.

I am about as clueless as you (I'm not so sure about you) maybe the pill is so strong that the effort put into the incident needs a cooling effect. Something like the radiator in a motor car.

Imagination. When words were bleeped out of movies, I often conjured up a nasty word. Turns out my imagination conjured up a much much more nasty word than was bleeped out. What does one do in bathtubs? You get naked. And since everyone "knows" what a male performance enhancing pill does... The tub hides the 'enhancement'.

Immediately following the commercial was the towns annual bathtub races. 2 tubs were needed because of the sponsership. Cialis said it would look silly if there was only one tub in a race.
