Why do so many people bash people for liking Nickelback? I am not a fan of them myself, but why do people put others down and make them feel embarrassed for liking the band just because they think they are crap? It's about opinion, not fact.

I have no idea . Possibly some of these people need to feel a bit superior over others. But, from your question, you could replace the words "Nickelback" and "the band" with a myriad of other words, people, things and we still wouldn't understand the need for some to humiliate others. +5 Interesting question
