Yes it is fun. Most of the trips are the same. A group of us all tied together pulling a cooler full of beer behind us.

ive been pulled behind a boat on a tube, but hadn never went down a rapid river on one. it sounds very fun though! ;) +5

We go tubing three or four times a month.. give or take at times when we either have things around the house to do or whatnot. We absolutely love it! If this ? upgrades I will go take pics of our tubes when the rain dies down. My bf tries to kill you when you are on so most people want me driving =)

A few times. Northern CT and near Albany, NY. There was one trip that was a couple of days after a heavy rain fall, the river was running fast. The faster the more fun in my opinion :-)

The closest I came was when I was little, my friend and I found a huge inflatable tubing thing. It was in the Winter time, just sitting there in the woods. So we took it, rolled it over to the toboggan slides and went around sliding around with it for hours. It was fun, and really fast, but eventually I guess we wrecked it, it started deflating. :(

I used to tube the Salt River in Arizona. Beer and enforced idleness is pretty damn fine. Don't forget sunblock though or your experience will be extremely memorable.
