You're reading Did the Shah of Iran just Create a Martyra by having Neda Salehi Agha Soltan killed? Is it not something like that, that led to his power and after 30 some years will he be undone by a young woman marching for freedom in her country?
Comments
Sorry i am not up on Iran History they have been talking about him like he was alive, 3 years of blank puts slows me some times, however their leader is some sort of religious Zealot.

Their current Supreme Leader is one of several ayatolluhs (religious leaders).
The Shah died 30 years ago, just after the 1979 revolution overthrew his monarchy and instituted an Islamic theocracy.

Not a problem -- I know how it goes.
He does have a son living here in the U.S. who potentially could be re-installed as the Shah if they restored their monarchy, but nobody thinks that's going to happen. (And even he knows better than to ask for it.)
All the best.

I hate to tell you this, but it's even worse than that. They're charging the families of the protesters who have been shot a "processing fee" in order for them to claim the bodies -- I heard it's in the neighborhood of the equivalent of $3,000.
And I heard one report (bear in mind that you have to take everything with a grain of salt right now -- this is unconfirmed) that they're including a charge for the bullets used to kill the dead protester.
