  • aryan brotherhood is the one on that list that is actually in the terrorist category. The rest are simply criminal gangs. If we expand the definition of terrorism to include criminals we might as well not define terrorists as a separate category. One of the defining factors of terrorists is that they typically have some form of political or religious agenda. Gangs are just somewhat organized criminals. ter⋅ror⋅ism –noun 1. the use of violence and threats to intimidate or coerce, esp. for political purposes. 2. the state of fear and submission produced by terrorism or terrorization. 3. a terroristic method of governing or of resisting a government. Gangs don't fit that description.
  • They have to have a value system that causes them to act violently towards others. White supremacist is one, right wing religious fanatic is another. Extremist anti abortion groups definitely fit in this catagory. (emphasis on extremist. We're talking bombers and shooters here.)
  • Hi dude! I think what your asking is if crazy racist cults and/or street gangs constitute terroist groups. My answer is yes and no. Let me explain. The innocent people who are targeted by these horrible groups are the victims of terroism, absolutly, and their long term PTSD is very real! But these domestic thugs, racists and whackjobs are not the same international threat that Al-Queda poses to the well being of the world at large.
  • Better yet, the US is the original and biggest terrorist in the whole world. When they accuse others of terrorism is only because they know all too well how to pull the job. If you want to see that at work, look into what they have done to Cuba for the past 50 years and see if it isn't the quintessential behavior that they accuse others of
  • I've no idea who the ms-13 are. Pretty much everyone you mentioned and then some. Neo-cons, KKK, Monkeywrench Gang, PETA, the Right to Life movement, and more.
  • I don`t know about all of them. But if they are terrorising a neighborhood or bigger,I would consider them terrorists. We need to take care of our own business at home instead of Just the rest of the world.
  • you make a good point, I agree.
  • See, it's all a matter of scale - it depends on if America has only sold a few hundred guns to create an exploitable executive crisis, or if they sold a few thousand to make a proxy army and exploitable executive crisis.
  • Yes, I think they call them domestic terrorist for a reason.
  • I definitely think there needs to be a major crack down on gangs. You watch Gangland and you always hear about there's only 2 ways out, death or prison. But what about the hardcore gangsters who have killed multiple people served their time and become preachers or youth counselors. I don't care what they do now, that's bullshit and they got away with it. There needs to be HARSH punishment for these gangs. I remember going to high school and they'd say there's a "zero tolerance" for gangs yet there they were decked out in all their clothes and bandannas. Nobody did shit. The on campus cop knew all of them too and knew what gangs they were in, why were they not kicked out of school? Why was there so much tolerance?
  • Aye.. indeed. Domestic terrorism does not have the priority it should because the wealthy and influential are seldom the targets. A domestic terrorist just shot a guard in a Holocost museum in D.C. His background is the story for one day. Had a senator been killed we would still be hearing about the terrorist's connections.
  • They can be if they decide to "terrorize" somebody, but I think an even greater threat to our great country is good ole Uncle Sam and his Secret Society minions.
  • we need to crack down on gang violence, but those are gangs, involved in gang related activity, they target each other, not innocent civilians(intentionally). but ms 13 is the most terrorist like gang but yes we need more help to get rid of gangs
