-
None. If this one crashes then I'm screwed!
-
Hehe, I see the addiction hasn't kicked in full throttle yet. Hrm, I do have other computers though I hadn't planned them as backups for AB lol. But then I do go from my main computer (AB) to my laptop (AB) lately. Anyway back on topic, 2 laptops, 1 server, 3 computers, 2 Blackberry's and 1 Cell (no PDA's). Can you hear me now?

I have a total of 4 computers ... two are older Pentium IIIs and the other two are Pentium IVs ... But I only have the two P4s that are runable ... the P3s are half empty desktop towers with no hard drives or RAM, and only one of my P4s is set up for the internet, with dual operating systems Win-XP & Linux ... my main work computer for programming is Linux only, and I do not risk infections to it so it has never been given a modem of any kind ... so basically, if THIS one software crashes, I will have to restore from backup ... if it hardware crashes, I'm screwed untill I can afford to buy new parts. __________ ... OH, and I have an old 1983 Apple II+ in storage ... but it is not something I would connect to the internet ...
-
Three, including my laptop
-
No backup computers but a backup external hard drive that I update periodically. Looking at laptops now but so many choices (so little money).

I love these questions. I have 32 WORKING machines installed on 2 large metal racks, 2 ethernet switches, 2 KVM switches, and 2 monitors. All together there are probably 40 computers here, but many are in parts. But yes, out of the 32, every single machine works.

One Pc which acts as a hub. It houses my hard drive, a slave drive and an external drive and also houses my wireless network. I barely use it other than to maintain my network and hold data. I have one laptop which I only use for music production/creation. It has all of my music software (protools, cubase, etc.) and is set up for midi in for my synths and a soundcard to handle live instruments and such. I have another laptop used only for art. I Illustrate a comic for my job and also do art as a hobby so I have this laptop set up with Adobe Photoshop, illustrator, Painter, and run a wacom tablet on it. I have another laptop I use for recreational use And then I have an old PC which I mod'ed myself. This one is bare bones and I put it inside of an old fashioned radio. I installed a small 5x7 display screen in it and hooked it up to have a wireless remote. I dropped a 1000 Gb hard drive in it and put all of my music on it. I hooked speakers up to it and use it as a custom MP3 home stereo system.
