Can a person be considered a hippie even if they don't do drugs or have free sex, but do everything else hippy like?

i dont know if it says you cant not smoke marijuana in the Divine Book of Hippieism. While a lot of hippIES do smoke pot, many dont. Not a engage in casual sex either. Being a hippie is not about getting messed up or fucking everyone, but a matter of thought.

Yes I think so certainly not the free love. That was not a prerequisite but more of an excuse.

It seems like if you support animal rights, human rights, or pollution control, someone will call you a hippie. It's just a label - people should do what they think is right.

Really...trying to BE a hippy, is the least hippiest thing you can do. And hippies don't really exist anymore, they're a bunch of posers and I live in a HUGE "hippy town."
