  • Oh my stars but that makes me crazy. The only time it gets an apostrophe is when you're dealing with possession or a contraction.... "the DVD's case" is right. "we watched DVD's all night" is not. Apostrophe use is one of my all time pet peeves. :)
  • G'day Elitheeli, Thank you for your question. As far as I know, there are none. I think the rules for apostrophes are poorly understood. It has two functions - to show omission of letters such as in it's good to see you and to show possession as Elitheeli's question. I have attached sources for reference.   • Yes. I's, A's if you don't put the apstrophe then it would read Is and As. I think there are more but it's getting late and I can't seem to think of them right now.
