The popular high-carbohydrate, low-fat diet that was being touted in the 70's and 80's. It made my triglycerides and LDL go up and the good HDL went down. And I gained weight! I feel sorry for people who are still practicing low-fat diets. They are a fast track to heart disease. Good fats and lots of lean protein are the way to go (with starch, fruit, veggies, and treats in moderation).

go on a NO biscuit one. didn't last a day!

I went on a soup diet. my husband decided (for the first time ever) to support me and join in. after day 2 we had a stomach bug. think we lost much more weight that way!
