No, he would be like a young Tony Blair. Charismatic, charming, pretty popular at first but on a definite downwards spiral towards being the subject of contempt for many, just like Tony Blair towards the end.

No - far from it. Although Obama - seen as left-wing in the States - is actually middle-of-the-road by our standards, Cameron is a Tory. Tories don't believe in public spending, they tend to believe in a market-driven economy, and they are not so concerned about the vulnerable in society. Cameron might try to appear to be 'one of the boys', but he is a Tory, and he would continue the Conservative policies of their previous leaders. And what does being white have to do with anything?
