  • The efforts he's been making are long overdue, but they're not enough: to really make progress, the U.S. would have to acknowledge some of it's transgressions specifically -- the many ways in which we have arrogantly interfered with and manipulated other governments, contributing to hostilities indirectly (or directly, as in Iraq), economic exploitation of small countries, etc. It's just a fact of human relationships that if you abuse someone, and then ignore those missteps when trying to "make up", trust will be withheld. People may be relieved that you're talking nice, but in the back of their minds they're holding onto "yeah, but you still don't get it".

  • nope..not at all...just further their deceit...i think the Arab and Muslim world encourage this terrorism of others and themselves way more than they want the world to KNOW....they suttlely ,openly ,condemn , it but then do nothing in EFFORTS to help STOP it...i think Obama is playing the 'sucker' to the Muslim world. i believe the only CHANGE is: amking the U.S. much easier TARGETS for the MUSLIM terrorists...opening us WIDE in LAX of defense and security ...his sympathetic tendacies..like no PRESIDENT in his DUTY in HISTORY....it s not a Change for BETTER , but for the WORST....but..thatsJustme:)
