When you answer a question on Answerbag, when do you not also give the question points?

When I forget. Obviously, I think the question had some kind of merit, or I wouldn't have answered it. PLUS FIVE. :)

Very rarely will I not give points to a question I answer, usually the answer contains the reason - offensive (& it has to be WAY over the line to offend me!) or a personal attack on a fellow ABer. Or, sometimes I might forget. That does happen...what were we talking about?

I always give up-ratings to every question I answer. I see no reason in the world to ever down-rate a question at all. If it was good enough to answer then to me it deserves all the points I can give it.
