Animator DV Simple + is a good freeware program to progress to, it has many more options. You'll need a serial number for it, ADV00843072-243 and it can be downloaded from http://animatordv.com/download7
Or do a search for MonkeyJam 3.0 which is also a freeware animation program.
I sugest gimp. for chearacter desgn, its free, easy to use and very well known, bare in mind the best (Marcomedia flash) is fairly epensive.

You're reading My 11 year old loves making movies out of the stick figures on a program called Pivot. He's great at it and I'd like software for him to progress his skills. Any easy to use/cheap suggestions?
