My 11 year old loves making movies out of the stick figures on a program called Pivot. He's great at it and I'd like software for him to progress his skills. Any easy to use/cheap suggestions?

Animator DV Simple + is a good freeware program to progress to, it has many more options. You'll need a serial number for it, ADV00843072-243 and it can be downloaded from http://animatordv.com/download7

Or do a search for MonkeyJam 3.0 which is also a freeware animation program.
