Besides "gosh" or "goodness" I say "oh my heavens" a lot. "Oh Miami" is another possibility. I try to be careful about saying God.

I've never said gosh (it always seems more like a word the queen or Hugh Grant would use....), so I might say god's sake, or something a bit swearier....

Sometimes I say "oh my God". It's more common for me to say "Oh, for Pete's sake" or "For the love of Pete". Usually someone asks who Pete is and I shrug and say, "Apparently he's a very lovable guy". Sometimes, I say, "For f*cks sake." It all depends on my mood and environment.

Of those three - "Oh my gosh" - it is more instinctive to say "oh my god" but I try to watch my mouth around my religious friends, so gradually it is becoming a bit more natural to say gosh. More than anything though I say "bloody hell/fuck"... which I am also trying hard to stop! Not very ladylike =D

Actually. . . . . . I've been known to use all those. . . . . . . .and THEN some. . . . . .and a bunch on top of THAT! And a few YOU'VE PROBABLY NEVER EVEN HEARD BEFORE. . . . . . and NOT necessarily in english!
