I am always finding money in the washer or dryer. A couple cents here and there. Maybe a dollar bill once in a while.

i bought a pair of pants at a grage sale last summer. the pants were 5 dollars and I got home tried them on and found a $20.00 bill in the front pocket best dang pair of pants I ever had! lol

I found seventy-five dolloars in my room once. I soon learned it was money that I had lost years ago.

I found a gold coin worth about $340.

I found a wallet that a car salesman from a nearby company has dropped on the road in the pouring rain. It contained his whole pay packet, which, at the time was over $300. when I phoned to tell him, he hadn't even noticed he'd lost it!

I was walking on a street in central Frankfurt and found 100 Deutsch Marks. I picked it up and looked around for the person who dropped it, however there was nobody within 100 feet of me (unusual for the normally crowded central city area). The value in US dollars was about $40 dollars back then. I was kind of depressed at that time so the windfall did lift my spirits. I used the money to buy a souvenir painted china cup and saucer and mailed it to my grandmother for her collection. I wasn't earning much money then and this felt good. She said it arrived undamaged.

I found money in my room that I had hidden when I was drunk, and later forgot about, it was about $160 and I didnt find until 8 months later!

On the surface, 20 bucks during our local spring volunteer road clean up day. Submerged, $415 in a wallet I recovered in the upper chamber of the Kirkfield Lift Lock. Boaters have a baaaaad habit of kicking things over the side. :)

Many times. I worked as a laundryman in a US Navy ship. The clothes dryer was a moneymaker. I found all kinds of coins and paper money during my stay there. The "Jackpot" was when I found three $20.00's and two $10.00 bills at the same time.

I found a purse once, it had about £30 in it, also a name and address, I droped it through the owners letter box, because I know how I would feel if I had lost it.

in Australia you must had it into the cops , because you can be charged with 'stealing by finding'...yeah I know it sucks ... but after a set period of time and no one claims it ..you get to keep it

When I was little I found an envelope with $700 cash in the middle of the street! I kept it hidden in my room and forgot to tell my parents about it. After a year I found it while we were moving and I showed my mom. She took me to the police station to turn it in but they said that it could belong to anyone and that since it had been over a year that I could keep it! Woo hoo I was an 8 year old with 700 dollars!

I found a pound yesterday, I was torn whether to hand it in or splash out and spend the lot.........I put it in a charity box :o)

No but I have lost money and it sucks! I once set my wallet down in the grocery store to look at something ( I know I was stupid) and forgot about it. A few minutes later I realized what I had done and frantically went searching for it. Finally someone found it and returned it to the service desk. I got my wallet and all it's contents except $450 cash that was inside. And I normally don't carry cash I just cashed my check and was bringing the money to pay bills. It was sad! Because of it my children didn't have any Christmas presents (It happened a few days before the holiday) If I found money I would turn it in weather it was $10 or $1000. It's only the right thing to do! You never know how much that money means to the person who lost it.

I found a $10 bill once standing in line at the grocery store. The cashier said it didn't belong to her so I kept it. An hour or two later I was at the gas station and a gentleman approached me said he'd run low on gas and didn't have his wallet on him. I handed him the ten and he put gas in his tank. I figure it was a natural way of passing good things along.

I found 2500.00 in a freezer after my aunt died. I tried to give it to my mom but she insisted I keep it. She had found over 10,000.00 in a coffee can in the same freezer. I spent it, of course.

If I can't find the owner of it, I keep it. I really do try to see if someone dropped it. I spent it on something I am sure. Don't think I ever found more than a $10.00 bill.

I've never found any significant amount of money. I think the most I ever found was a $20 in a parking lot. I spent it.

I seem to find pennies on the ground all the time and I keep them until I can leave them at a store in the penny tray for someone else to use.

yeah i found 10 pounds on the floor at work i kept it as im the lowest paid person ther and thers no way to prove who it belonged 2 anyway

ive found dollar bills and 5 dollar bills, kept those but if i ever found a lot of money like a billion dollars or something i would turn it in....other than that ill stay selfish

i found 50$ but i gave it back to the people cause i heard they were looking for the money they lost... cause i felt really bad and i know how pissed off i would be if I lost 50$!

Actually just two days ago, someone at my job left a 75$ check made out to cash (I'm a waiter). Gave it to the manager on duty. Asked the general manager today whatever happened to it, and he never heard about it. So who knows?

to buxtonite n all if i find a wallet i hand it in or give back to person..since i lost wallet and had it returned to me..But if its money dropped on street without a name on it....its mine and if its the banks money..they rip us off legally/throw people out of their homes who are on mortgages..so i care for the person on the street but NOT the banks ...cheers n all the best friend

yes, in my room. my mom had let someone sleep in my room. when they left i found the money. $20. not much. but enough to get my friends bday present. (in which someone stole before i gave it to her) i didnt scream at my mom that night though. lol.

i was going to work one morning and went to the bathroom in the mall,i was looking in the mirror and saw a wallet sitting on floor in a bathroom stall so i went in put it in my purse, on my break at work i went to the bathroom and looked in it and there was 850.00 in in which i keep.
