One day from a toe poking through.

about as big as my big toe.

Pretty darn small. I have multiple pairs of the same brand, style and color. So, I just throw the bad sock away and have one extra until the next one goes bad. I then have complete pairs again.

tiny. I'm very sensitive, and holes in my socks are annoying.

when they're bigger than the holes i put my feet in to put them on--then there's confusion.

never, if the hole gets big enough for me to put my foot through, then that sock has become a leg warmer, then I find an unholy sock (not the devilish kind) and introduce it to that day's companion currently on my leg

Very small. Any hole in a sock annoys me.

About 1 inch is time to throw away.

My feet are leathery, so a hole in the sock won't cause a blister. Still, any larger than an inch and it just feels wrong.

The size of a dime

As soon as a hole starts to form they go in the garbage.

Whenever I get a hole in my sock.. I can't HELP BUT RIP IT BIGGER... like.. it may take me a bit to get to it.. but I just can't help myself. I have to rip the hole bigger. After I do that.. in the trash they go!
