Between the 2 I would say more often lack of courage...off the record I would say it's more of a lack of opportunity.

I have to say it is a bit of both G. It has always been a "fear of the unkown" issue with many. The courage to venture on to something new such as a better paying job or a new way of life it tough when "What if I fail" comes into the picture. Lack of Knowledge on the proper steps to take. So I really think it could be a combination of the 2 things. +5

Lack of courage, I'm educated but I fear certain things so I may miss out on them due to fear

I think it has more to do with themselves and then the knowledge on how to obtain what they want. So the former is true.

I think a lack of courage. I mean, if you had the courage to seek out any knowledge you would need, you would. And, I strongly believe that a lack of knowledge is some form of a prevailing ignorance thing. That being said... if you don't have the courage to defy any and all forms of ignorance, you hold yourself back with an invisible ceiling that never allows you to thrive. Some people are terrified to be more than just average.

I don't think it is lack of courage. I think it is not knowing ourselves well enough to be specific about what we want. So, I would say lack of knowledge.
